Favorite Scripture

I’m curious?  What is your favorite scripture and what English translation do you prefer? 

 Please send them to me in the comments and if you like, tell me why you like this verse.  I hope that I will not receive a whole bunch of John 3:16, but a variety of verses. 

To start you off, my Salvation verse was Romans 4:6-9 and My Sanctification verse is Ephesians 1:13-14.(NAS)

    Well my screen saver at work has Deuteronomy 22:8

    When you build a new house, you shall make a parapet for your roof, that you may not bring the guilt of blood upon your house, if anyone should fall from it.

    But to say that I have a favorite verse is a little difficult. I find that different verses effect me at different times. I can say which translations I prefer. I personally stick with three translations starting with my favorite, the ESV (English Standard Version) followed by the NASB (New American Standard Bible) and finally, the NKJV (New King James Version)
