My wife Colleen has just returned from a short stay at Kaiser Permanete Hospital in Fontana, CA. This was her second time in the last month. We have to say that God’s hand is with the staff at this Hospital and every time we have had to go there with an emergency, we have been treated with extreme love and care.

Even the guards in the ER showed the Love of God in the handling of those placed in their charge. The nurses, doctors, technicians and housekeeping staff were the sweetest and most caring people. One of the patients asked that a priest come over to my wife and pray for her, not knowing who we are.

When Colleen was admitted to the hospital for tests and a procedure, the entire staff of the wing she was at and the lady she shared the room with were always ready with a kind word, a prayerful attitude and very professional. Everybody had a smile on their faces and a sparkle in their eye. And when we mentioned Christ, they were in agreement, unafraid to profess faith in God.

While staying in a hospital may be a hard thing to accept, staying in one where those who serve you are doing it because of their love of people and God makes it almost like going on vacation. This was the feeling Colleen got at Kaiser Fontana.

I thank God that she is home again but rejoice and praise God that Kaiser Fontana is the hospital that we go to. His Grace is with the staff, His Love is in their work. May God in Christ watch over them and continuously bless them.
